Our Story
It all started when...
Kemo K. Pepic was born April 25th, 1954 in the former Yugoslavia, now Montenegro. He moved to the US when he was 16 years old, chasing the American Dream. Growing up less fortunate, Kemo was determined to provide for family back home and build something for the new one he planned to start here.
After working and learning in other machine shops, he started KP Engineering Corp. in 1980. His obsessive desire for perfection led him to providing his customers with unmatched quality and precision, even on the toughest jobs. Starting out working by himself in a small 1000 square foot unit with only 1 manual machine, he now owns 44 CNC machines, on a 18,000 square foot facility, and manages 40 employees.
the legacy continues...
We are as excited for our future, as we are proud of it’s past. Kemo has been passing down his passion to his two sons, Ziko and Dino. Ziko has been working in all departments of the organization since he was 13. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Redlands, and now runs all operations of the organization. Dino is currently studying Programming. Both are determined to carry on the legacy their father established.
