CNC MILL & LATHE SETUPS & PROGRAMMER
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Uses engineering drawing & NC program information to setup CNC Mills & Lathes.
- Uses appropriate tools and fixtures for the manufacturing task
- Writes instruction sheets and cutter lists to standardize set-ups
- Recommends new or improved cutting tools
- Recommends improved manufacturing processes or methods
- Evaluates and resolves design related production problems
- Uses computer assisted engineering and manufacturing software, Mastercam
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

CNC Multi-Axis Swiss Lathe Machinist
Following prescribed machine shop methods and procedures, setup and operate a variety of CNC Multi-Axis Swiss Lathe machines to produce parts in a production environment as specified in blue prints and production planners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Set-up and operate a CNC Multi-Axis Swiss lathe
- Quality checks for conformance to specifications and planning documents
- Use precision instruments to check and inspect to tight tolerance requirements
- May modify tooling and fixtures to turn out best quality parts
- Works under limited supervision
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job CNC Multi-Axis Swiss lathe machine experience
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and follow verbal instructions
- Must have knowledge CNC programming techniques
- Prior Swiss and Tsugami machine experience preferred
- Prior experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls are a plus
